There are sections of dirt, gravel, small stones, sand, bulldust, dry creek crossings and depending on conditions there may be severe corrugations, holes in the road or road washouts. The route chosen is quite adventurous and combines sealed and unsealed road surfaces. It is a 9 day escorted Postie Bike adventure tour of the Pilbara, which includes many alternative adventure experiences that the Pilbara has to offer.
